The Aqualife #401 Super cartridge was the first product that established the Aqualife Corporate benchmark for standards of excellence in our range of water treatment products. This 20 year plus favourite with our customers offers 0.5m absolute carbon filtration that combines an iron exchange resin to reduce lead content. This cartridge has been manufactured using FDA compliant materials and is independently tested based on NSF/ANSI material requirements standards 42, 53 and 58.

The Aqualife Ultracarb incorporates a brand and technology that has been a global leader in drinking water filtration for over 100 years. This Aqualife product incorporates a three stage system that consists of sub micron filtration giving an efficiency of 99.9% at 0.5 to 0.8 micron. This countertop has been tested with live Cryptosporidium to a removal efficiency >99.999% as well as high removal levels of other microbacteria including E.coli. Filtration efficiency includes turbidity as well as chlorine, organic compounds, lead and other heavy metal reduction. An application that is most suitable is in the treatment of tank water.

The Aqualife Spaceage cartridge is a significant advance in technology from the common hollow core and canister granular activated carbon cartridges readily available from most retail hardware and health shop outlets. The cartridge incorporates a four stage filtration system that includes 1m prefiltration, a specially selected grade of high performing granular activated carbon, a unique bimetal compound for the reduction of heavy metals and a polishing fabric. The advantage with this specification is that it is difficult for premature blocking to occur from the presence of excessive suspended solids such a dirt & rust within feed water. Also when combined with its broad spectrum filtration properties that include chlorine, VOC's, heavy metal elements and static microbacteria properties makes the Aqualife Spaceage cartridge very popular.

Specifically chemically engineered for the food and beverage industry, the Aqualife Quattro cartridge incorporates the magazine housing technology. This cartridge design maximises contact time of water with the media and provides a four stage water treatment system.

The mass of high surface area from the specially selected Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) leads to a high level of organic chemical and free-chlorine removal. The Quattro series will give approximately thirty (30) seconds contact time against approximately six.(6) seconds for a hollow core granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge.

This cartridge has been developed to improve the nutritional quality of highly refined water which has been treated by the reverse osmosis process by adding the necessary essential elements for sound human development and health.

Manufactured to ISO 9001 Standard

This series of Aqualife® sediment filter cartridges is excellent in those applications requiring the removal of suspended solids from drinking water systems. For those applications demanding high quality pre-filtration, the melt spinning technology offers significant advantage for filter cartridge design. These cartridges provide high standards of protection for the primary carbon cartridge over other designs. They give the customer improved water quality, cost savings as a result of longer on-stream life cycles and consequently lower maintenance costs.
